Jnanadeepa School, Javalli, reflects the power of thought and vision behind the committed endeavour of the Jnanadeepa Vidya Samste ®, which is sponsored by Sri Aurobindo Foundation for Education (SAFE). Set amidst sylvan surroundings on a hillock, Jnanadeepa School has the scenic skies for its backdrop and commands a breath taking view of the cloud-kissing Sahyadri hills. The campus is spread over 20 acres of land situated on NH-13, which is just 20 minutes drive from Shimoga City. Jnanadeepa, the first private CBSE School in Shimoga which has started its journey, in pursuit of Excellence, in the year 1999 with a strength of 36 students has grown to the strength of 2184 plus on completion of its 26th year. The journey was with lots of challenges and more of achievements. Its decennial celebration was a milestone in the history of Shimoga with the gracious presence of Bharatratna Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam.
